How to play POWERBALL

On a POWERBALL play slip, in the upper portion of the panel, mark five (5) numbers from 1 to 55 and in the lower yellow portion of the panel, mark one (1) number from 1 to 42. You may play up to five (5) panels on a single play slip. Each POWERBALL play is $1.

OR

Mark the EASY PICK (EP) box on each play to let the computer terminal randomly pick your numbers. You can select EASY PICK for any or all of the five (5) numbers in the upper panel and/or the one (1) number in the lower panel.

POWER PLAY Option: How to Increase Your Winnings

For an extra $1 per play, you can multiply your POWERBALL prize by 2, 3, 4, or 5 times the orginal prize amount (for all prizes except the jackpot). Mark the POWER PLAY box on your play slip or ask the clerk to add the POWER PLAY option. The POWER PLAY number is selected at the time of the POWERBALL drawing.

POWERBALL tickets can be purchased daily. The cutoff time for ticket sales is 9:50 PM (ET) on the day of the draw. Drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 PM (ET).

How to play Megabucks

Megabucks is a game where a player selects a set of 6 numbers from a field of 42 numbers. Six winning numbers are selected in an independent random drawing twice a week (Wednesday and Saturday). Cash or Annuity

A Megabucks player has the option of selecting an annuity payment (25 years) or the cash option (1 time cash payment) when the winning ticket is claimed.
