Data Base
- We refer to a data base as a collection of drawings
for a particular game. Each Game has its own data base.
Drawing
- A drawing is a specific drawing of
balls on a particular date.

- Game
- A Game is a particularly named game which
defines the name used by the participating state such as Florida Lotto,
Arizona Powerball, California Pick-4 etc...
Office Pool
- An office pool is a group of members who join their funds to play
one or more lotto / lottery games.
Picks
- Picks are number selections for direct play on a
play slip or for transfer to a Wheeling System with subsequent
entries on a play slip.
Pool of Balls
- When pool is used in reference to balls in a particular drawing
this refers to the pool of balls. Pick-3 has 3 pools of 10 balls in
each pool, with each pool holding balls 0 to 9. Florida Lotto has
one pool of balls 1 to 53.
Positions
- We count positions as the total number of balls in a that
are drawn including the Bonus Ball / Powerball if present. Pick-3 has 3
positions. Pick-4 has 4 positions. Florida Lotto
has 6 positions.
Upgrades
- The term upgrades is used by us in reference to
Software Upgrades. Upgrades may be free where some
upgrades may require payment.
Updates
- The term updates as used by us refers to Data Base
Updates.
Wheeling System
- A wheeling system starts with a selected set of
numbers from pick list
